Blog 1: Who Am I?
My name is Javiera, a 29-year-old English teacher that lives at the outskirts of Santiago. A millennial that chooses sometimes to be vegan because it’s cheaper, an introvert person that likes eating salty things and listening to music while talking to her friends about problems. I would say that my main interests in this moment are reading books, meeting new people, try to be as much healthy as possible and trying to fix my psychological issues before I leave the country.
Nice to meet you 😊
I used to live in Santiago Centro, but due to economic and health issues, this year I decided to go back to my mother’s place. She lives far from the capital, in a town called Peñaflor (not Peñalolén, but Peñaflor), with my younger and elder brothers. My father lives in the north of the country, so we see him sometimes.
Nowadays, my relationship with my siblings is amazing, I love my mom and, fortunately, it’s mutual; unfortunately, I am having some problems with my father and his perceptions of the world but, I hope, we can reach an agreement soon.
Anyways, here are some pictures from my family.
These two are my brothers; as you can see, the elder is the funniest one, while the youger is the coolest hehe.
These two are my parents. Sometimes I wonde how my mother paid attention to my father, but oh well, that's love for you.
See you next time, dear students :)
hi teacher Javiera, how interesting your blog entry!
ResponderEliminarwe share various interests, i also like to read a lot, what kind of book do you read?
Right now, I am reading a book regarding the term "vagabonding". Before that, I have read books from Japanese authors and they deal with themes such as murder and suspense and, in other book, it was about death and loss and moving on.
EliminarHi teacher, i´m triying to taking care of my psychological issues too before i leave the country. We have a lot in common!
ResponderEliminarMental health is as important and physical health. It's good to hear that you're taking care of that as well.
EliminarHi teacher Javiera, you look like a really nice person. I would like to meet your friends some day
ResponderEliminarHahaha, we are a very interested clique, but they are good friends indeed.
EliminarHi teacher, I really like listen to music too. What is your favorite music style?.
ResponderEliminarSee you next week.
Right now, I'm a crazy fan of Kpop. But, I also love grunge (Nirvana is my favorite) and music from the 80's (from Whitney Houston to Los Prisioneros).
EliminarHi teacher I love to read too! my favorite book is called "wolfsong", its a very beautiful book you can read it if you want!

Eliminarhi teacher javi, the blog i like it so much. I think that "chosen family" is a concept with a beautiful meaning. <3
ResponderEliminarYes, the term helps you broaden the conception of family.
Eliminarhi miss, I loved your blog, it´s great to have the chance to get to know you a little more. By the way, the pictures with emojis are very good.
ResponderEliminarAs you can see, I'm a editing pro.
EliminarHi teacher, I just read your blog, very good! I was wondering if you had any pets? And if you don´t, what is your favorite animal?
ResponderEliminarI used to have dogs, but they died a couple of years ago, so I'm not interested to have pets. But, in the future, I hope to have a cat of my own.
EliminarHi teacher, I love your blog. I also like to read, I recommend the book "the invisible life of addie la rue"
ResponderEliminarWhat's the plot of the book? It seems very vague.

EliminarWow Miss, very interisting blog, I know the town of Peñaflor, my grandmother lived there, the square is very nice especially at nigth
ResponderEliminarPeñaflor has improved its infrastructure quite a lot over the last few years.
EliminarTeacher Javi, very good post, I loved the term "chosen family", because it gives special relevance to that group of people that one literally chooses and who have great importance in our lives.
ResponderEliminarI think that when you choose your people, it means that you are capable of loving others regardless of their status, religion, sexual or political orientation, etc. And that's beautiful.
EliminarHello teacher <3, what nice photos

Yes, they are the best pictures I have taken from them hehe.
